Kassidy Menk started at the CLC in a part-time capacity before being hired full-time as the Administrator and Global Honors Coordinator in 2025. They help maintain the daily activities of the Center, handle the Center’s social media accounts, and run the University’s Global Honors program. Kassidy earned an M.A. in Humanities at the University of Chicago with a specialization in East Asian Languages and Civilizations. They study a multitude of languages, including having studied Korean, Russian, and Arabic at the University of Chicago. Kassidy’s research interests focus on North Korean media and propaganda, and 20th century Korea-U.S. relations. Outside of work, they love going to concerts and traveling!
