Degree program: Double major in Media Arts and Design, and Gender and Sexuality Studies. Minor in Computer Science

Speaks: English/Spanish
Hometown: Lake Elsinore, CA
Favorite trip: One of my favorite trips was when my family and I visited schools on the east coast. We were visiting family in Michigan, and then began our journey. We drove through Canada and saw the Niagara Falls, which was so beautiful! I loved the few states in the east I was able to visit and walk through, and it was nice to just be with family

I’m majoring in History and Law, Letters, and Society. I have studied Spanish and Latin. My hometown is Florence, Alabama.

My favorite trip was to Cancun, Mexico two years ago. I went with my two best friends and we had a blast! Truly the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen.

I am a second-year graduate student at the Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice. I am from Sonoma County, CA.

I have studied Spanish and ASL, but it’s been a while so don’t quiz me!

My favorite trip was a road trip my family and I took two summers ago to Zion National Park in Utah. We made stops in Palm Springs and Las Vegas on our way to Zion, and we saw some of the most fun roadside attractions along the way!

Degree Program: Masters of Arts in Humanities, Two-Year Language Option

Languages: German, Japanese

Hometown: Lake Zurich, IL

Favorite Trip: In summer 2017, I embarked on a High School Study Abroad Immersion to Kitakyushu, Japan! I lived alongside my amazing and generous host family, the Yamashitas, for 6 weeks, attended Kyushu International University High School with my host sister Monday-Saturday, and was even interviewed for Japanese TV in front of the Fukuoka train station (yes, the episode aired in August 2017!). Living in Japan was the most wonderful experience I ever had and I can’t wait to return to my lifelong friends in Kitakyushu.

I’m a second-year in the College interested in Economics and RLL, possibly pursuing a double major. I can speak Portuguese, French, and Spanish, and I’m currently learning Catalan. I’m from Porto Alegre, Brazil and have moved around a few times. My favorite trip was to Ardèche, in southern France. The scenery is beautiful and there are endless hiking paths, fun river activities, and great small villages.
