Getting your UChicago account
UChicago IT Services recently posted this announcement: “Due to the University’s move to remote learning for Spring Quarter 2020, there has been a significant increase in requests for Zoom accounts. Please allow additional time for your Zoom account activation. Note: if you are an instructor teaching a course in Spring Quarter, you do not need to submit a request. You will be provided with a UChicago Zoom account.”
As I said in the webinar, the two options for getting started are 1) create a new free account with a personal email address, or 2) sit tight until you receive an update from IT Services.
