What is Copyright Protection?
This page covers the basic definitions regarding copyrights. It has been written using the Berne Union for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Property (Berne Convention) as the main bibliographical source, and thus does not refer to the laws of any country in particular.

Stanford University's Copyright & Fair Use Center
Stanford University Libraries offer an overview of copyright, a discussion of primary materials, and a review of current legislation. The site also features a web guide, newsletter, and a section for librarians.

Fair Use of Copyrighted Materials
The University of Texas System discusses the "four factors" and other basics of Fair Use and university policy. The site is geared particularly towards instructors.
